According to the vision from God this orphanage started its function on 1st January 1997. There are now 45 children with us who have come from situations of deep poverty and difficulty. We provide free accommodation food and education. They have all received Jesus Christ, and now they are prayer-warriors. It is our vision to raise up a mighty army for God.

The children here receive as much love and attention as their caretakers can possibly provide. But even in the best environment, all children want to feel unique… to know that someone has a special place in their heart just for them. That’s what you can do.
In addition to your support, we encourage you to pray for and write to your sponsored child. As a sponsor, you’ll also receive letters from the child you’re helping. Building a personal relationship with your sponsored child can be as rewarding and joyful for you as it will be for the child you’re helping.

Children in need at Rose of Sharon include those who are being raised by grandparents who are no longer able, children who have been abused, neglected, orphaned, troubled, or poor, & children from dysfunctional families. Rose of Sharon is Christian people working together to provide for children in need. Children can find open arms here with the love and care they need. This home is settled in a beautiful village setting on 2 acres of wooded, hilly land with scenic creeks winding throughout.
Every child needs to know that someone cares for them; we are ready to give that love to each child coming to us. In a time of great trouble for our people and country, there are many children that need someone to teach them of Christ and God's Word and give them a home and love.
The children are raised in a family atmosphere with Christian parents, giving individual attention to each child and their particular problems and needs.
Living at the Alpha Christian Children's Home represents to these children a chance to heal; correct past mistakes; experience a Christian family's love & security; learn to respect one another; share in household responsibilities as a family, gain a solid education; learn how to keep one's actions, goals, and accomplishments disciplined; and most important - learn how a life
with Christ as Savior and Lord will be full of blessing and purpose.
